A blog created for science teachers in response to an assignment for my "Recent Developments in Science Education" class for ECU. It is my hope to not only be successfull in my classes and learn from my classmates.I also hope to connect, not only with the science community, but with past and present colleagues and share ideas in the field of teaching science.

current event
Not sure if I am supposed to go out on a limb by myself sort of rogue. My "Jet Time" tomorrow is for a science current event. Any ideas?
Seek and ye shall find. Well, maybe.
We were given some questions to post on our blog. But they are good ones. It seems as though the answers might be floating somewhere, just elusive enough to never find the answer we seek. I agree with another post that stated "some teachers just seem to have it." This is a right on comment. You can just feel it when you walk into their rooms. Those that just "have it" make in work in any content area. I have learned a lot from observing colleagues in other arenas. Does anyone have answers, concrete or philosophical. I am, we (my classmates and myself) are looking for them. Can you help???
How do science teachers become better teachers?
Where do we go to get the "right" kind of help and how do we really know just what we need?
